MV Thailand Aggressor dive boat review
The MV Thailand Aggressor is part of the Aggressor Fleet and Dancer Fleet and is one of the vessels owned by this global company who operate liveaboard vessels from Alor, Indonesia to Turks & Caicos.
The Thailand Aggressor liveaboard is 35m long and 7m wide – one of the more spacious safari boats cruising the picturesque Similan Islands. MV Thailand Aggressor is capable of crusing at 11.5 knots and is built to U.S. Coast Guard and A.B.S. standards with a full complement of safety equipment.
MV Thailand Aggressor Diving boat has been an Aggressor Fleet destination since 2013. The vessel overs predominantly two itineraries – either a North or South Andaman Sea tour.
The North Andaman cruise leaves from Tapla Mu pier and takes in the famous Similan Islands before travelling as far North as Richelieu Rock; just South of the Myanmar border.
The Southern Andaman cruise by contrast takes in the diving around the popular Koh Phi-Phi before heading south to the Tarutao National Park.

MV Thailand Aggressor is a sizeable safari boat by Andaman Sea standards. Longer and wider that MV Giamani and with accompanying increase in living space. She still, however, only accommodates 16 guest in 8 ‘staterooms’.
Cabin facilities on the MV Thailand Aggressor include either a Queen or Twin Beds, mirrored cabinets, wardrobe, hairdryer, bathrobes, toiletries, fresh towels daily and individual air-conditioning.
Outside of the cabin you’ll find a partially-covered sun-deck with chaise lounges; complete with a wet bar and hot tub. There is a BBQ grill area, an ample swimming platform which also houses 2 warm freshwater showers.
If you’re still stuck for something to do when not diving, there’s an entertainment centre complete with a selection of books, TV/DVD player and an assortment of films to watch
The dive deck is where the action happens. And the crew aboard Thailand Aggressor aspire to offer the ultimate service. Ample storage space for your diving equipment is provided in your personal locker. The cylinders onboard are 12L (80 cu/ft) tanks with K valves (INT) – no DIN valves. However, adaptors are available on request.
Should you be qualified to do so – or wish to take your qualification onboard – Nitrox is available via a Nitrox membrane system with cascade storage at a reasonable addition fee.
Meals provided onboard are international cuisine which will appear to all guests and every effort is made to accommodate any special dietary requirements.
The MV Thailand Aggressor is slightly more expensive than some of it’s direct competitors. Expect to budget USD3,290/THB117,000 for a 7 day itinerary.
