Koh Bida Nok is the sister dive site of Koh Bida Nai located 2 km south of Koh Phi Phi Ley. It is regarded as one of the best diving spots of Koh Phi Phi. The Marine life is teeming and you can spot various Sharks like Blacktip, Leopard Sharks, Nurse Sharks as well as turltes and Moray Eels. It is not rare to also see a banded sea snake. From December to February, It is sometimes possible to spot a Manta ray or even a whale shark if you are very lucky! The wall is covered by superb Sea Fans dancing in the current. The maximum depth is 33 meters deep and the current can be strong, so this site is more suitable for advanced divers. The spot is also called “Outer Father”. As it is an excellent dive site it often visited by Liveaboards from Phuket or Khao Lak.
You can dive Koh Bida Nok all year long. Access: from the Shore. See the map of Koh Bida Nok on the right for the exact location.

Diving Reviews for this region
Koh Phi Phi
Amazing Marine life in a very scenic surrounding. Perfect starting point to explore the world class dive sites of the Andaman Sea!
Great spot !
Saw 4 blacktips when one was around the 2-1.5 m and 3 leopard shark with one about 2.5-3 m and a banded sea snake .. All of those in one day and 2 dives .
Extremely recommended
Besides an abundance of fish and other general marine life, specific animals of interest that I spotted were:
1. Black tip reef shark (very briefly!)
2. Sea turtles
3. Man 0’War
4. Puffer Fish
