Instructor on Spain’s Costa Blanca Needed ASAP

We are a watersports and diving club located in beautiful Calpe, Spain at the base of the Peñón de Ifach. We offer a range of watersports activities, diving courses and excursions to our customers. We are searching for a Scuba Instructor for June 15 to September 15.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a passionate diving instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting try dives, diving courses, guiding certified divers, and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work and grow your experience at a well-established diving club on Spain’s Costa Blanca. .

Responsibilities:

• Conduct diving courses in accordance with established training standards and safety protocols.
• Lead kayak or SUP excursions when needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and role model behaviors.
• Provide instruction and guidance to divers of all skill levels, especially beginners.
• Ensure the safety of all divers by adhering to established dive plans, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
• Assist with equipment setup, maintenance, filling tanks.
• Promote environmental awareness and conservation efforts among divers.
• Assist with customer inquiries, reservations, student certifications and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Certified diving instructor with active status 
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to speak English and/or Spanish; additional languages such as French are a big plus.
• Valid driver’s license
• EU citizen. Must be eligible to work in Spain.
