Spela Jekovec

My name is Spela Jekovec, I am 28 years old and I come from Slovenia. I am a certified PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) and currently work as a registered nurse. Beside I also have Nitrox speciality, Deep speciality, Night diving and Navigation. I made my OW course in Thailand (Koh Tao), Advanced course in Indonesia (Komodo islands), Stress&Rescue in Gili islands and Divemaster course in Mozambique (Tofo beach). While my career in healthcare has taught me responsibility, focus, and empathy, my true passion lies in the ocean — in teaching, guiding, and sharing the beauty of scuba diving.

I am now actively looking for an opportunity to work with an experienced and professional dive team where I can grow, improve, and gain valuable hands-on experience as a scuba instructor. My goal is to deepen my knowledge, become an even better mentor to future divers, and build strong foundations for a long-term career in diving.

Thanks to my medical background, I bring with me a high level of safety awareness, quick decision-making under pressure, and a people-centered approach. I strive to create a calm and encouraging learning environment for all students, helping them feel secure and inspired throughout their underwater journey.

I speak fluent English, Slovenian and Croatian, am physically fit, and fully committed to working hard and learning as much as possible from your team. I would be truly grateful for a chance to contribute and to grow within your dive center.
