Staff Accountant

As we expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team and support daily accounting operations.

Position Summary
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank and account reconciliations.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and financial statement preparation.
Prepare internal financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data reporting.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
2–4 years of accounting experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
CPA certification is a plus but not required.
