Instructor/Manager for Dive Shop

Our shop is looking for an Instructor/Manager. We are a small business that at times can be very busy! Couples may apply. Position is unique in the sense that you will fully operate the shop. The position may be held by a couple that is willing to divide the duties of diving instruction and office duties. Individuals may also apply, and an assistant will be in place once you are hired.

Instructor Responsibilities:

• conduct all courses, DSD, diver training
• Scheduling of events—diving, courses (team approach with office person)
• manage all staff in a team-work like atmosphere
• ensure that shop is operating in an efficient manner
• Inventory control-àordering supplies
• gear repair/maintenance oversite/schedule
• Facebook/Instagram account management/upkeep
• Shop marketing local-community, building relationship with local businesses for referrals

Office Responsibilities: (prefer at least a dive master but other industry related experience will be considered):

• Answer all emails, phone and WhatsApp
• Request trip advisor reviews from customers
• Handle all customer releases, forms and PADI certifications processing
• Payroll, bill, utilities, taxes
• Accounting/record keeping
• Arrange customer pick up
• General communication with attorney and accountant
• Facebook/Instagram account management/upkeep
• Shop marketing local-community, building relationship with local businesses for referrals
