We are seeking a creative and organized Internal Communications Specialist to join our People and Culture team and help deliver clear, engaging, and consistent communications across the organization.

Position Overview

The Internal Communications Specialist will develop and coordinate communications that keep employees informed about company news, organizational updates, business initiatives, and workplace programs. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer, a proactive communicator, and someone who can turn complex information into messages employees can easily understand.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit, and distribute internal communications, including company announcements, employee newsletters, leadership messages, and organizational updates.
• Manage internal communication channels, such as the company intranet, employee email updates, and internal messaging platforms.
• Partner with Human Resources, leadership, and department heads to communicate policies, initiatives, and important business changes.
• Support employee engagement campaigns, company events, town halls, and internal recognition programs.
• Maintain consistent messaging, tone, and branding across internal communication materials.
• Create communication plans and editorial calendars to coordinate announcements and recurring content.
• Gather employee feedback and evaluate communication effectiveness through surveys, engagement data, and other available metrics.
• Help prepare communications for organizational changes, ensuring messages are timely, accurate, and appropriate for the audience.
• Handle confidential company information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Two to four years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, employee engagement, or a similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong editing, storytelling, and content development abilities.
• Experience using digital communication platforms, intranet tools, and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different departments.
• Sound judgment when handling sensitive information and communicating organizational updates.

Compensation and Benefits

BrightPath Solutions, Inc. offers an anticipated annual salary of $60,000–$78,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. The role follows a hybrid schedule, combining in-office collaboration in Austin with remote work, subject to business needs.
