We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support Specialist golf hit to join our team. This is a crucial role responsible for ensuring our employees have the technical resources and support they need to work efficiently. You will be the first point of contact for all IT-related issues, playing a key part in maintaining our robust and reliable IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily technical support to employees, troubleshooting and resolving issues with hardware (laptops, desktops, printers) and software (Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, internal applications).
- Set up, configure, and deploy new equipment for new hires and existing employees.
- Manage user accounts and access permissions across various systems, including Active Directory and cloud-based platforms.
- Document technical procedures, solutions, and troubleshooting steps in our knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the senior IT team on system upgrades, network maintenance, and security initiatives.
- Assist in managing our inventory of IT assets and software licenses.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and communicate effectively with non-technical users.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proven proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint).
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
- Experience with a ticketing system like Jira, Zendesk, or similar.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a patient, service-oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certifications.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
- Familiarity with remote desktop software.
