Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial operations for our Florida Home Insurance Estimator platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling financial records, revenue tracking, payment processing, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
• Track revenue from estimates, subscriptions, and lead sales
• Prepare financial reports, including profit & loss statements and cash flow analysis
• Monitor and reconcile payment gateways and online transactions
• Ensure compliance with U.S. financial regulations and tax requirements
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Coordinate with management on pricing strategies and financial performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience as an Accountant (preferably in SaaS, insurance, or tech platforms)
• Strong knowledge of U.S. accounting standards and tax regulations
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
• Familiarity with online payment systems and subscription-based models
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
