As our business expands, we are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team and support our daily financial operations.

Job Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close procedures.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Maintain organized financial records and confidential information.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting-related issues.
• Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification or CPA candidate is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of payroll processing and sales tax reporting.
• Experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.
