Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Sales to lead and scale our sales department in the U.S. market. This role is responsible for developing sales strategies, managing the sales team, driving revenue growth, and building strong relationships with key clients and partners.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a proven track record in sales management, and the ability to execute in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth targets

  • Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement

  • Set sales goals, KPIs, and performance metrics; monitor and report results regularly

  • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and strategic partnerships

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and enterprise accounts

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to align business objectives

  • Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline development

  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, and training of new sales team members

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (MBA preferred)

  • 7+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a sales leadership or management role

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent)

  • Ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on when needed

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the U.S. market and managing cross-functional teams

  • Background in B2B sales (SaaS / Technology / Manufacturing / Services – depending on industry)

  • Experience scaling sales teams in a growth-stage company
