International liveaboard operators, Siren Fleet, have five luxurious sailing yachts on their fleet. This, the SY Fiji Siren, is the newest addition to their range – having been launched in September 2013 to cater to the needs of the modern diver.
Fiji, the southern pacific paradise, is home to some of the most colourful reefs and ecosystems on the planet. Reportedly home to approximately 390 species of coral and 1200 species of fish, the diving around Fiji is rich and varied. Reefs, swim-throughs, caverns and wall dives; whatever you’re hankering for Fiji has something to offer. Fiji is a tropical adventure above and below the surface.
The SY Fiji Siren is 40m in length. She is a traditional ‘gaft rigged Phinisi’ vessel. Built by divers for divers, despite her traditional layout the logistical necessities of the modern diver are well catered to. Safety on the Siren Fleet is also of the highest priority; Fiji Siren is equipped with automated life rafts, life jackets, fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, radio, satellite phone and EPIRB to cover all eventualities. In addition, each crew member is first-aid trained to deal with and potential issues encountered.

Cabins and Boat Layout
Fiji Siren has space for 16 guests in 8 comfortable, air-conditioned cabins. Each cabin has it’s own private bathroom facility with hot-water through adjustable heaters.
The cabins also have their own individual entertainment system, reading lights and storage for personal possessions – including a safety box for any valuables. You’ll also find complimentary towels and bath robes.
The other areas of the Fiji Siren are equally well-appointed. There is an air-conditioned lounge area with a library of books, board games and, for the movie fans, a 42 inch TV with a film network.
Outside there is a covered outdoor dining and refreshment area where delicious buffet-style meals of local and western dishes are served. In the unlikely event that you’re hungry between meals, there are complimentary snacks and soft drinks available through the day.
Towards the top of Fiji Siren you’ll find a sun-deck with loungers. Or, alternatively, if you prefer to be more active on your surface intervals, there are kayaks available for exploring on the surface.
The yacht boutique onboard offers Siren Fleet merchandise and for those truly wanting to unwind, a massage service is available.
