Soyak Island is very close from Tioman Island. The dive site is very easy and perfect for beginners or a night dive. The current varies from none to medium and the water is usually very clear. The reef life is really spectacular with many different species of fishes such as barracudas, bumphead parrot fish and lionfish. There also some turtles and a great variety of nudibranch. This is a very good dive site for underwater macro photography! It is also a great place for snorkeling in Tioman.
Best time to dive: the ideal period to plan holidays here isFebruary to March. Access: from the Shore. See the map of Soyak Island on the right for the exact location.

Diving Reviews for this region
Tioman island
Nice and easy diving in clear water and beautiful coral reefs. Good location to take diving courses.
At the time, the current was actually quite strong but that was because it had just heavily rained a few hours ago. My instructor told my group that normally the current is not too strong.
The fishes are incredible and seeing turtles are actually rare.
