Angol Point is a very popular dive site of Boracay Island. It is a shallow (10m to 15m deep) easy reef dive used for Padi Open Water Diving Courses as well as for interesting night dives. Angol point is also a good spot for macro underwater photography where you can improve your skills. The visibility is usually very good and the reef life is flourishing.
Here you can see colourful Sweetlips, Groupers as well as Sea Snakes and Scorpionfishes all in the middle of beautiful hard and soft coral.
Angol Point also makes a very good Snorkelling site.
You can dive Angol Point all year long. Access: from the Shore. See the map of Angol Point on the right for the exact location.

Diving Reviews for this region
Boracay Island
Great place to learn Scuba Diving or to take courses. Some interesting and challenging dive sites and good macro photography opportunities.
Corals are amazingly colourful and two giant coral bommies 4m high by 5m width frame the entrance to the slopy part of this dive site.
Those two bommies are covered with anthias, damsel, butterfly, lionfish, look on the lower part you will for sure spot nudibranchs…ribbon eels live nearby
Nice Blog Marion! Thank you for your comment. Would you be interrested to write a guest post for Divezone?
This has to be one of the best dive sites in Asia for open water students or those who just like to dive in easy conditions a see the stuff of the underwater movies… from two shallow entry points on sandy bottoms the surrounding area is covered in hard coral,, giant table corals, staghorn coral, cabbage coral ans many many many other hard coral species thrive here, around twenty five bommies rise to about 5m which attract colorful fish galore, you can reach a depth of about 20m, but the best stuff is between 5 and 12m making it a perfect second or third dive of the day.
