Nautilus One’s On-board Facilities

The Nautilus One displays generously sized communal areas which could comfortably welcome more than the 16 guests of the ship. Outside on the foredeck, there are plenty of loungers, couches and chairs, it can be enjoyed both in good and bad weather. Also, it’s presented as the best spot on the Nautilus One to enjoy an unspoiled view of the Maldives.

Furthermore, you will also find and outdoor lounging area at the aft of the ship, along with a very convenient swim and dive platform. Plus, should you walk upstairs, you will find a huge sundeck. On this very top deck, only a small area is shaded so it’s the perfect place to soak in the sun or watch the stars at night.

Finally, the inside of the boat is just as attractive. Indeed, the indoor salon and dining area is large and offers all the technologies you might need. Indeed, with a flat screen television plus a hi-fi stereo system, you’ll have plenty of audio and video entertainment. Moreover, the indoor communal area is where meals are served and also where you will find the bar and coffee station.

Vessel Layout

The Nautilus One, with a cruising speeding ranging between 12 – 14 knots, will sure make the atolls crossing a breeze. The dive boat is equipped with all the safety and navigation features such as a radio satellite, GPS, depth sounder and the usual fire alarms and extinguishers. Plus, power and water supplies are running 24 hours a day.

The Nautilus One has a sistership in the Nautilus Two, but the dive boats cannot quite compare to one another. Indeed, if the construction is similar, the final product sure is not. The Nautilus 2 is much bigger and welcomes almost the double number of guests while the N1 offers a more private experience.

Scuba Diving with the Nautilus One

As it is often the case in the Maldives, the Nautilus One is assisted by a second boat, the Araakuri Dhoni.  The professional guides and instructors take care of the material on the dedicated dhoni and this way, you can get safely straight to the action-packed waters. Of course, this means no compressor sound on the mother ship and much more space to enjoy!
