Okeanos Aggressor II is a 120-foot Aggressor yacht carrying up to 22 guests on diving trips to Cocos Island, Costa Rica.
If you’re a diver who enjoys larger pelagic life, the Cocos Islands are a must-see destination. Flying into Costa Rica and then sailing approximately 340 miles offshore to the Cocos Islands, these volcanic islands are a sanctuary for some of the most sought after and beautiful animals on the planet. If you’ve always dreamed of diving with hammerhead and reef sharks, manta rays or even a whale shark – Cocos Island could be the spot for you. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.

At 120 feet long and 27 feet in beam, Okeanos Aggressor II accommodates up to 22 guests. Compare the cabin layouts and trip budget with Sea Hunter before choosing.
Cabins and boat layout
The 22 guests have a choice of 3 separate cabin options depending on budget and personal circumstances.

| Category | Bed arrangement | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| Deluxe | Rooms 3–10: lower double bed with upper single bunk | Divers comfortable with a bunk layout |
| Master | Room 1: queen bed | Couples wanting one bed |
| Suite | Fixed twins in room 2; king bed in room 11 | Guests prioritising space |
Private bathroom facilities are listed for all categories. Confirm the specific cabin when booking: the operator’s introductory cabin count and detailed room list differ.
As you would anticipate at this level of diving vessel, all cabins have air-conditioning.

Life onboard
The Okeanos Aggressor II has ample amenities outside the cabins too. The main deck has an air-conditioned salon area. In the salon you can relax and watch TV or make use of the entertainment system.
The dining room is spacious, with local and western cuisine throughout your voyage. Service varies with the itinerary, including self-service meals during the crossing and chef-prepared dinners at anchor.
There’s a sun deck on the top of the vessel where you can soak up the sunshine on a lounger or watch the sun set with a cold drink.

Photographers have a camera table and charging facilities for preparing equipment between dives.
Diving at Cocos Island
The Okeanos Aggressor has a spacious dive deck with plenty of space for setting up your equipment. The crew, who speak both English and Spanish, are there to assist with any logistical requirements you may have.

Rinse tanks for camera equipment and delicate gadgets are available. DIN adaptors are available for those bringing their own regulators. EANX Nitrox is available at an extra charge for certified divers; confirm any training arrangements before travel.
A typical 10-night Cocos adventure offers 18–21 dives, subject to weather, with up to three dives per day and no night diving. Diving is generally from tenders.
Itineraries
The voyages to the Cocos Islands are typically 11 days/10 nights offering copious time to enjoy the underwater world.
2026 fares and the real trip budget
Comparable basis: USD per person, 10 nights, published 2026 fares for departures from 1 July, shared Deluxe cabin for Aggressor; Sea Hunter requires a quote for matching dates and occupancy. Reference calculations checked 28 September 2026, not live offers. Do not add an extra twice if it is already included in your quote.
| Cabin | Cabin fare | Before optional Nitrox | With Nitrox |
|---|---|---|---|
| Deluxe | 6,399 | 7,132.70–7,152.20 | 7,302.20–7,321.70 |
| Master | 6,749 | 7,482.70–7,502.20 | 7,652.20–7,671.70 |
| Suite | 7,249 | 7,982.70–8,002.20 | 8,152.20–8,171.70 |
Mandatory extras used: USD 553.70 park fee including VAT, USD 30 evacuation plan and USD 150–169.50 fuel including the potential tax provision. Optional Nitrox adds USD 169.50 including tax. Scheduled host-hotel/dock transfers are included. The separate eight-night tariff needs its own calculation.
Aggressor fuel is listed at USD 150; the upper end allows USD 19.50 if 13% tax applies to fuel. Nitrox is USD 150 + 13% = USD 169.50. Card surcharges are excluded. The travel webpage specifies cash for park fees and VAT and a 3% fee on other card payments; the August trip PDF instead mentions a 3% surcharge on park fees paid by card. Confirm accepted payment methods and the final tax treatment with the operator.
Full holiday budget: add flights, mainland hotels, airport–hotel transfers, dive insurance, rentals, internet and optional gratuities. These are cruise subtotals, not all-inclusive holiday prices.
Budget sources checked 28 September 2026: Cocos Aggressor rates, Okeanos II rates, Aggressor travel fees, August 2026 trip document, Nitrox prices and Sea Hunter terms.
Included: accommodation, meals, snacks, selected drinks, tanks, weights and scheduled diving. Confirm final inclusions and payment terms for your departure.
Who this trip suits
Okeanos Aggressor II is worth comparing if price and departure dates matter more than side-by-side Deluxe beds. Cocos is a remote open-ocean destination for divers comfortable with currents, buoyancy and surface signalling. Discuss recent experience with the operator before paying; the dive team decides site suitability.
Flights, transfers and time aboard
- Before embarkation: fly into San José (SJO) at least one day early and book a hotel night. Airport-to-hotel travel is separate; scheduled transfers between the designated host hotel and Puntarenas are included. Confirm the pickup hotel on your booking.
- At sea: allow about 36 hours outbound and 28–32 hours returning. A 10-night trip usually offers 18–21 dives, with up to three daytime dives on diving days; weather and site conditions control the schedule.
- Return: Aggressor lists flights after 12:30 p.m. on disembarkation day. Obtain the transfer and flight timing in writing before buying a non-refundable ticket; an extra hotel night gives more flexibility.
Bring certification cards, proof of mandatory dive-accident insurance and Nitrox certification if using Nitrox. The evacuation-plan fee does not replace your insurance. Complete the operator’s guest information at least 14 days before departure. For season planning, read our Cocos Island diving guide; sightings are never guaranteed.
