The Budak wreck dive site is an old wooden boat from the 19th century in Pulau Menjangan. The dive starts at the anchor around 8 m deep, then you follow the chain down to 33 m deep and find the dark wooden wreck on a sandy bottom. It is quite a deep dive site and you will just have 15 minutes to explore the wreck with normal air so you could use Nitrox to increase your bottom time. On the wreck, there is a nice array of marine life with huge schools of yellow strip snappers and whitetip reef sharks. You have to be at least open water advanced or CMAS 2 stars to dive this wreck in Bali. The current is usually not an issue.
You can dive Budak Wreck all year long. Access: from the Shore. See the map of Budak Wreck on the right for the exact location.
