The Jetty dive site is also known as the House Reef or the Check Point. This an artificial reef constucted of metal structures from former fishing boats to help to attract fishes. And that seems to be working as the marine life here is very rich with many nudibranchs, clownfish, orangutan crabs, shrimps, frogfish, lionfish and moray eels. You can even see bigger fishes like schools of snappers and groupers swimming around. It’s even been named the 5th best dive site in the world a few years back! So enjoy and don’t forget your underwater camera as it is an excellent spot for macro photography.
You can dive The Jetty all year long. Access: from the Shore. See the map of The Jetty on the right for the exact location.
