Job Summary:
As an Accounting Intern at Epic Games Studio, you will assist our finance team with a variety of accounting and financial tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity for students or recent graduates to apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting, develop professional skills, and contribute to the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Daily Transactions: Support the finance team in processing daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile Accounts: Help with reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records.
- Data Entry: Enter financial data into accounting software with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prepare Financial Reports: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Invoice Management: Review and process invoices, ensuring they are correctly coded and submitted for payment.
- Budget Tracking: Support in monitoring budget expenditures and providing reports on variances.
- Document Organization: Maintain organized and accurate financial records and files.
- Ad hoc Tasks: Provide support for special projects and other tasks as needed by the finance team.
Qualifications:
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or a recent graduate.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
