Ask for the exact cabin number, bed arrangement and bathroom access. For a solo booking, confirm whether the fare buys a shared berth or sole use, and how any supplement is calculated.

What to budget

Quote required. Compare the total for the same number of nights and the same shark route, including mandatory fees. The previous historical starting fare is not a verified 2026 price.

Nitrox is advertised by the operator; confirm its cost and certification rules. Request a written breakdown of meals, gas, rentals, port charges, taxes, transfers and gratuities.

Compare the same dates, duration and occupancy. A lower advertised daily rate can conceal a different trip length or cabin; the full written quote is the useful number.

Itinerary and diving experience

Specialist shark itineraries may focus on Tiger Beach or extend to Bimini depending on the season and charter. A shallow site still demands good buoyancy, attention to briefings and comfort around large animals.

Before you commit

Have the operator review your certification, recent dives and experience in current and open water. Confirm insurance, emergency arrangements and gas requirements. Encounters and species are never guaranteed.

Ask about emergency oxygen, evacuation arrangements and dive-accident cover. Keep within your training and the crew’s instructions, maintain buoyancy around reefs, and never chase or touch wildlife. No boat can promise a particular animal encounter.

Getting to the boat

The published programme identifies departure from Riviera Beach, Florida, and boarding at 16:00. Confirm the exact marina and schedule on your joining sheet before arranging transfers.

Dolphin Dream is another specialist programme to investigate, with dates and scuba-versus-snorkeling activity checked independently. Juliet offers a Miami sailing departure, but its standard Bahamas programme is not automatically the same shark route.
