Life aboard Yasawa Princess
The indoor lounge is a place to hang out with friends, have a drink, read a book or watch some TV. If you walk up to the sundeck, you will find an area to soak in the sun in a daybed or lounging chair.
Diving, itinerary and transfers
The operator distinguishes leisure cruises with optional diving from dedicated dive cruises, advertised with three dives daily and a weekly night dive. The dive boat is listed for a maximum of 16 people, separate from the ship’s passenger capacity.
Travelling with a non-diver on Yasawa Princess?
Acceptance and activities: Yasawa Princess explicitly caters for leisure travellers as well as divers, with seven- and fourteen-day cruises and alternating itineraries. Compare the non-diving cruise programme, snorkeling outings and island stops for the actual week. Ask which activities, guidance and equipment are included, whether diving is a separate package, and which excursions cost extra.
Non-diver price: the non-diver fare and any discount need to be confirmed for your departure. Request a written quote for your dates, cruise length, cabin and occupancy, stating currency, taxes, transfers and activity extras. Do not assume that unused dives are refunded.
Indicative Malé-return diving circuit described by the booking partner. Leisure cruises and one-way cruise segments may use different ports; check your exact boarding instructions.
Text itinerary: Malé / North Malé → South Malé area → Vaavu / Alimatha → South Ari / Maamigili → Malé / North Malé. The order is illustrative, not a confirmed departure programme. Confirm the boarding point, direction and daily stops with the operator.
The lines connect reference areas; they are not safe sailing tracks. The captain selects channels and sites according to conditions. No wildlife encounter or individual stop is guaranteed.

Yasawa Princess booking FAQ
Do all 56 passengers dive together?
No: the operator specifies a 16-person dive boat. Confirm space in the diving programme before booking your cabin.
Is diving included in a leisure cruise?
The operator describes it as an extra on leisure cruises. Dedicated dive cruises have a different programme: compare the written inclusions.
Which cabin deck should I choose?
Compare stairs, windows, proximity to social spaces and your preferred bed arrangement. Ask for the current cabin number and deck plan.
Can a non-diving partner join?
Yes. The operator offers leisure and dive programmes for mixed interests, but daily island excursions are not promised on dedicated dive cruises.
