MY PalauSport dive boat review
The Palau Sport is a 38 liveaboard operating both in the Philippines and around Palau. Indeed, the steel hulled vessel offers itineraries to Cebu, the Tubbataha Reef and further to the picturesque Palau.

Boat Cabins & Layout
The PalauSport welcomes a maximum of 30 guests on each voyage with 12 cabins available. Indeed, there are 9 double occupancy cabins on the ship plus 3 quad-shared cabins. Of course, this allows flexible options in term of accommodation and prices. Also, each cabin features an en-suite private bathroom with shower head. Plus, there’s usually enough of boxed on-shelf storage and hangers in each stateroom.

Palau Sport’s On-board Facilities
You will find more than enough deck space where to relax between dives on the PalauSport! First, the upper deck displays the dive deck, the technical rooms but mainly the galley and a huge salon and dining area. Indeed, the spacious air-conditioned space welcomes the 30 guests to enjoy the meals but also for briefings and to relax during the day. Furthermore, the very top sundeck is fitted with tables, chairs and loungers… perfect to enjoy the views of the Philippines or take pictures of the beautiful archipelago of Palau.

Vessel Layout
The vessel was made especially to cater to large groups of scuba divers. The twin-engine and steel hull allows stability and reliability for long cruises such as going to Palau. Of course, all the latest navigational and safety technologies are all set and ready to be used.

Scuba Diving with the Palau Sport
The PalauSport can cater to 30 guests, which requires a huge dive deck and great organisational skills… seems like they have both! Indeed, the dive deck’s space seems efficiently managed and offers boxed storage for every individual kitting up station.
Furthermore, there are separate rinse tanks for cameras and gear as well as Nitrox and air filling stations. Also, the PalauSport has two 9 meters tender boats assisting the diving operation. Indeed, you’ll get straight to the action packed waters and save your energy to explore the ocean floor!

The divesites are nice and colourful, a lot of sharks – sometimes even whale sharks – and turtels… Clean boat and the kitchen is TOP. They have 2 speedboats with a lot of space. The only negative point is the cabins are a little small…but you only need it to sleep, the rest of the day you are on briefing, diving, eating or sunbathing…
