Ko Yung Pinnacle dive site is located north of Ko Yung Island, also known as Mosquito Island. The pinnacle starts at 36 meters deep. The marine life is excellent with many schools of fishes. Like everywhere in Koh Phi Phi, you can see Blacktip reef sharks, Leopard sharks resting on the bottom as well as many blue spotted stingrays. The hard and soft coral is excellent all around the area. Ko Yung Pinnacle is not very popular as it is quite complicated to reach which makes it a perfect Koh Phi Phi dive site if you want to avoid the crowds. Important to note that current can be strong and visibility is often limited to 10 m. If the conditions are right, it can be a really good diving place!
You can dive Ko Yung Pinnacle all year long. Access: from the Shore. See the map of Ko Yung Pinnacle on the right for the exact location.
