Dschubba dive boat review
The 20 meters Dschubba liveaboard offers scuba diving cruises in the Philippines. Indeed, the wooden vessel was built in 2007 and now offers diving adventures all around Palawan, including to the Tubbataha Reef.
.
Boat Cabins & Layout
The Dschubba is a smaller liveaboard, hosting a maximum of 8-10 divers on each voyage. Indeed, it promises uncrowded scuba diving. The cabins either have a double bed or two twin beds. Plus, each room has a window and enough storage for your personal belongings. Moreover, the 2 bathrooms and showers are shared on the Dschubba.

Dschubba’s On-board Facilities
The main deck of the dive boat is all communal areas. Indeed, the guests can enjoy the spacious open-air dining area. The meals are served there, in a buffet style, and it’s also a great spot to mix and mingle with fellow divers and have a drink at night!
Furthermore, the ship is all equipped with modern navigation and scuba diving technologies. The number of crew members vary but there’s, of course, the captain, one steward and usually 1 or 2 dive professionals.
.
Scuba Diving with the Dschubba
The Philippines are home to some incredible reef, all teeming with marine life. The worldwide renowned Tubbataha reef is on one of the route proposed with the Dschubba. With only 8 or 10 divers on-board, professional and experienced dive guides and all the best equipment, it’s all set for a memorable trip. Plus, the mother ship is assisted by a diving dhoni, getting divers where it matters!
.
Finally, the scuba diving schedule of the Dschubba is divided in two. Indeed, from mid-march to mid-june, they sail to the Tubbataha Reef while the rest of the year they dive the best spots of Palawan. Also, for safety concern, the ship accepts only highly trained and experienced divers with a minimum of 257 logged dives on the Tubbataha routes.
Prices for Tubbataha starts at 1410€ for 5 days / 6 nights
and 1830€ for 7 days / 8 nights
Please view the liveaboard’s webpage for exact schedules.
