MV Snefro Love dive boat review
King Snefro Fleet are one of the longest established liveaboard diving tour operators on the Sinai Peninsula. Having been operating from their base in Sharm El Sheikh since 1986, they have a wealth of local knowledge and expertise in Red Sea diving. MV Snefro Love is one of the luxurious vessels in King Snefro Fleet, predominantly operating in the Northern Red Sea.
The Sinai Peninsula and northern Red Sea offers wrecks, reefs, wall dives and lots of colourful aquatic life and great visibility. On dives there’s the chance to encounter beautiful corals, colourful shoals of snapper, barracuda, blue-spotted rays, napoleon wrasse, giant moray eels and octopus. Many experts say that there are over 2000 species of fish and coral making this area of the Red Sea their home.
MV Snefro Love was originally built in Rashid in 2010 specifically for divers. Renovated again in 2014 she is in tip-top condition and ready to welcome you on your adventure. At 37m long and 9m in beam she is comparable in size to competitors such as MV Blue Melody.
Snefro Love has 2 x 460hp engines that help the boat glide through the water on the journey between dive sites. In addition, for safety and pick-ups/drops there are 2 x diving tenders each equipped with 25hp outboards. Snefro Love has a full compliment of emergency safety equipment including radio, radar, GPS, life-rafts (2 x 25 person), first-aid and EPIRB Distress System in the event of unforeseen issues.

Onboard Snefro Love you’ll find 10 cabins and 13 bathrooms which amply cater to the maximum of 20 guests.
Every cabin is air-conditioned for your comfort. The cabin options are as follows:
- Twin Cabin – the twin cabins are all located on the lower deck. Classically decorated, they feature two single beds, ensuite bathroom, electronic safety deposit boxes and internal telephone system.
- Double Cabin – located on the upper deck with a double bed. This room also has ensuite bathroom amenities and air-conditioning. Being on the upper deck it has a slightly more airy ambience with all the features of the twin cabin.
- Master Suite – for that additional slice of space, privacy and luxury, try the master suite, which is located on the main deck. The master suite has all the great features of the standard twin and double cabins and a mini-bar.
Outside of the cabins are several communal areas where you can relax and trade stories with your fellow travellers.
The comfortable and air-conditioned salon area on the main deck has a large plasma TV, DVD player and stereo/mp3 facilities.
The dining area is very spacious for the lucky guests and here the meals served by the chef are a mouth-watering mixture of international and western dishes in buffet style. And, if advised in advance, the chef is able to cater to any special dietary requirements you may have. As usual, tea, coffee and snacks are on offer throughout the day.
If you’re a sun-worshipper, this may be the boat for you with no less than 3 sun-decks! Sprawl out under the Egyptian sun between dives on a lounger.
