MV Blue Force Two dive boat review
Known originally as the Princess Ushwa but now known as MV Blue Force Two – is one of the most spacious and comfortable ways to indulge yourself with a voyage around the Indian Ocean.
A series of stunning atolls and islands perched in the middle of the Indian Ocean, the Maldives has long since been on many scuba divers’ bucket list of ‘must see’ destinations. There is a wealth of different marine life to satisfy even the most experienced of divers.

Blue Force two is owned by Blue Force Diving. She is the sister vessel to the larger Blue Force One. Blue Force Two, while smaller, still has impressive dimensions and facilities. At 32.5m long and 10m in beam she is almost identical in size to rivals Dream Catcher 2 and Honours Legacy. And, as with her sister vessel, there has been much attention to detail in her design and layout. Blue Force Two is speedy, comfortable and has every facility the majority of divers could conceivably need.
Cabins and Vessel Layout
Blue Force 2 has a selection of 11 double cabins in which she is able to accommodate 22 guests over her 3 accommodation decks.
On the lower deck you’ll find 2 cabins with a double plus single bed and then a further 6 cabins with twin beds.
Above on the main deck you’ll find 1 twin/double ‘Superior Stateroom’ cabin.
Finally, on the upper deck there are 2 twin/double ‘Superior’ cabins.
Every cabin is equipped with en-suite bathroom, shower and air-conditioning and 24hr 220v power for powering your appliances and gadgets. Superior cabins on the main and upper deck also have an exterior window.
Outside of the cabins the mood is relaxed and friendly. On the main deck you’ll find the galley, bar and the indoor and outdoor dining areas. If, by contrast, you’re in more a mood to relax, there is a lounge area where you can relax and watch TV, listen to music or make use of the Wi-Fi available.
On the upper deck, aside from some crew quarters, you’ll find lounge chairs and an outside deck where you can take in the amazing views.
Finally on the top deck is the sun deck for sun worshippers looking to top up their tans and on the sun beds and mattresses supplied.
Diving on Blue Force 2
Diving takes place from the accompanying Dhoni. Before each dive you will be thoroughly briefed and safety is top priority. Nitrox is free onboard on the Blur Force fleet allowing you maximise your bottom time.
