MV Princess Handy is the sister vessel to Princess Dhonkamana liveaboard. Owned and operated by Macana Maldives è un marchio di Macana Srl, the Princess Handy is wooden yacht of 36m in length, 10.5m wide and a cruising speed of approximately 10 knots.

Millions of years in the making, The Maldives with 26 coral atolls and approximately 1200 small coral pinnacles and islands are legendary among Scuba divers. The waters are nutrient rich and on lucky occasions you may get to share your dives with Manta Rays, Whale Sharks or other exotic marine life.

Boat Layout & Cabins

MV Princess Handy is larger than her sister vessel and, full, may cater to a total of 22 guests in her luxurious cabins.

Princess Handy has three different cabin options:

• State Room
• Suite (with a sea view)
• Master Suite (with Jacuzzi and sea view)

All of the available cabins are pleasantly decorated and comfortable. And each is fully carpeted with individual air-conditioning, flat-screen TV and DVD facilities and it’s own ensuite bathroom facilities.

Suites have the benefit of a sea view and the Master Suite is sumptuous and also offers a private Jacuzzi.

Moving outside of the cabins on Princess Handy liveaboard there is a large, comfortable saloon and lounge deck. There you will find a well-stocked bar where you can unwind with an aperitif at the conclusion of the day’s diving and swap stories. Or relax in a soft, comfortable chair and make use the flat-screen TV, DVD and media facilties. Or, if you’re in party mood, there is a karaoke!!

Scuba Diving onboard Princess Handy

The diving on MV Princess Handy is 2-3 dives per day is conducted in conjunction with the briefing and guiding of your onboard professionals from the diving dhoni. And Nitrox will is provided for certified users for one dive per day.

In addition the price on MV Princess Handy includes pick-up and drop at Male Airport, meals, tea, coffee, mineral water and juice, use of the sauna, steam and Jacuzzi facilties, 12litre dive tanks and weights. You have also visit the local island beaches, snorkel and fish on request.
