Customer Review:

“I instantly liked SY Indo Siren the moment I first saw it. It’s a traditional Indonesian custom-built phinisi made mostly of wood that looks gorgeous at a closer look. The dive deck is really spacious. They also have ample space for setting up your equipment (and charging area too!), especially if you’re a camera/video geek like me! When not diving, I enjoyed hanging out in the ship’s air-conditioned saloon because it is very inviting and reposeful. There’s also an espresso maker waiting for coffee addicts like me.
I thanked the heavens for SY Indo Siren crew! Geez! It’s quite hard to control us sometimes. We’re like a bunch of teenagers! Haha. But Cedric kept his cool. He carried with him a bucketful of patience, understanding, knowledge and dedication. Most of the divers onboard at that time were Open Water PADI certified.  But diving and learning with the diving team from Indo Siren couldn’t have been more different! We saw numerous breathtaking sea creatures!  The dive guides had fantastic equipment, most were nearly brand new. They had a vast knowledge of the area, particularly the best diving spots. They are dedicated to help everyone get the most from every diving experience. Great, isn’t it? Because of that, me and my partner didn’t want to stop diving!
The entire team of SY Indo Siren worked hand in hand to provide us an over-the-top service. The food was varied, really stimulated our appetite and very flavourful. This liveaboard chose very good chefs which cooked food to perfection and satisfy every guest’s taste buds!
If there is anything that they could do to improve the experience, it would probably be making the Indo Siren a whole lot bigger so more divers can experience this amazing journey. The more the merrier, right?!  I felt at home travelling with SY Indo Siren. They made all of us feel comfortable. The crew are helpful, friendly and smiling most of the time. I’m looking forward to joining you again, guys, in the not too distant future! See you soon!”

2 liveaboard reviews for “S/Y Indo Siren”

  1. I am arriving with my wife on the 11 of January 2014 and are very anxious to dave. We are equally anxious to dive with professionals so that they’re strongest dive is balanced to the weakest diver. Can you please tell me quickly about. How many dives are there per day. Can we have an afternoon dive by ourselves as a buddy dive?

Perhaps you could also set some rates, if possible for a four day package or something a little more- starting from sometimes after January 11 and ending before January 20.

    With my sincere thanks –

  2. I was originally alone when I had my liveaboard diving in Raja Ampat. However, I never felt alone or lonely during my stay on the Indo Siren. Before the trip was over, I made lots of friends who eventually became my diving buddies. Thanks to SY Indo Siren’s fantastic crew for making things easy and comfortable! The relaxing vibe onboard keeps the atmosphere enjoyable. I applaud how abreast and well-versed the crew are regarding the countless marine creatures that dwell in the waters of Raja Ampat and the heart-stopping beauty found in the various dive sites.

I happened to open my logbook the other day to look and reminisce some past diving trips. And I noticed that the itineraries of some other liveaboards were somehow different like most of them skipped or missed some diving spots. Some even failed to find or locate the rarely seen but the most sought-after underwater creatures. What I liked most about SY Indo Siren, particularly about their diving directors, is their canny way of scheduling dives to avoid the crowds. The popular diving sites which are expected to be jam-packed with divers from different nooks of the world, accommodated us and gave us the time to fully immerse ourselves with the mesmerizing beauty underneath the sea.

I congratulate the management of Indo Siren for pertly planning and organizing a splendid liveaboard tour. The staff and diving team of Indo Siren gave an extraordinary service. They assisted us in preparing our diving equipment and also went out of their way to make us feel at ease onboard together with fellow divers. The facilities and amenities in this liveaboard were also incredible! I liked the alfresco eating area that has a suncover. It’s a nice spot to stay while eating your snacks or meal. And oh, eating in SY Indo Siren is like eating in a 5-star restaurant! It was such a gastronomic delight feasting on various local and international dishes! I look forward to the time that I can be on this dive boat again! ;-)
