Anita’s reef is one of the best dive site of the Similan Islands. The topography at the bottom is outstanding with a huge rock in the middle of a sandy area with stingrays and garden eels. The rock is covered with beautiful hard and soft coral. The Marine life is teeming with many pelagic fishes and turtles around the reef. This dive site is really great for underwater photography because of its topography but also for its macro mife. Keep an eye out for tiny box shrimps and partner gobies! The current is usually gentle and this dive site is perfect for a first dive on a Similan cruise.
Best time to dive: the ideal period to plan holidays here isOctober to November. Access: from the Shore. See the map of Anita's reef on the right for the exact location.
