Saudi Explorer dive boat review

The Saudi Explorer is a liveaboard operating diving cruise in the Saudi Arabian Red Sea. Built in 2019, this 34 meters vessel is a luxurious liveaboard that will make you discover a lesser-known part of the Red Sea. Indeed, Saudi Explorer is one of the few liveaboards operating on the Saudi Arabian Sea coast.

The cabins

With its 10 cabins, the Saudi explorer liveaboard can accommodate a maximum of 20 guests. Each room features a private bathroom and a private air conditioner. Plenty of storage places are at the disposal of the guests. On the main deck, you will find 5 twin bedrooms. These rooms feature 2 twin beds and can accommodate 2 guests. On the upper deck, it’s possible to find 4 double bed cabins and 1 suite cabin. The upper deck cabins also have an amazing view of the Red Sea. Finally, the Liveaboard also offers daily housekeeping for every room.

Saudi Explorer’s On-board Facilities

On the Saudi Explorer, you will find plenty of room to relax during your stay. Indoors, you will find a spacious indoor saloon and dining area with a bar and TV entertainment unit. The dining room is also where buffet-style meals are served daily, featuring a mix of international and local dishes. The liveaboard will also offer you a welcome cocktail at the beginning of the stay. Moreover, the diving cruise features a comfortable and luxurious sun deck with lounge chairs and a hot tub, perfect to relax between dives.

Scuba Diving with the Saudi Explorer

Going on a diving cruise on the Saudi Explorer will get you to discover some of the best, yet unknown dive sites of the Red Sea. On the Saudi Arabian Sea coast, the Saudi Explorer proudly boasts to be one of the few diving liveaboard operating cruises on this side of the Red Sea.

On the main deck, the liveaboard features a large dive deck area where you can find enough space to prepare your gear and enter safely into the water. The dive deck also features a lot of storage for the diver’s belongings. This diving cruise appears to have everything you need to enjoy your diving experience. Indeed, the liveaboard offers nitrox, tenders for diving, rinse hoses, the possibility of renting your gear, and more. For underwater photographers,  camera rooms and charging stations are at your disposal. You will even find a separate rinse tank for your underwater camera.
