Adora: vessel profile

Adora accommodates 21 guests in 11 cabins. Built in 2014, the yacht measures 38.1 m long and 10.35 m wide. Choose from six Standard cabins, four Ocean Views and one dedicated Superior Single.

Which cabin should you book?

Deck Cabin choice What to check
Lower 6 Standard 4 double + single; 2 twin
Middle 1 Superior Single Double bed, maximum 1 guest
Upper 4 Ocean View Double + single; balcony

Cabins have air-conditioning and private bathrooms. Specify whether you need separate beds, a double, a view or sole occupancy; a category name alone does not settle those details.

Life aboard Adora

On the same deck there is also a bar and a salon-style comfortable seating area. You may choose to slump here in the evening and watch a movie on the entertainment system. The third deck has an outdoor seating area and finally, at the top of the vessel is the sun-deck for relaxing on surface intervals.

Let the operator know about dietary needs before booking. Ask which drinks and internet package are included; connectivity at sea should not be treated as a reliable work connection.

Travelling with a non-diver on Adora?

Acceptance and activities: Maldives Boat Club explicitly encourages non-divers to join its diving trips, with snorkeling or an introduction to scuba among the options. For Adora, confirm snorkeling supervision, equipment and any island visits for the exact route. An introductory dive is a separate activity to discuss with the operator; do not assume it is included in the companion fare.

Non-diver price: the non-diver fare and any discount need to be confirmed for your departure. Request a written quote for your dates, cruise length, cabin and occupancy, stating currency, taxes, transfers and activity extras. Do not assume that unused dives are refunded.

Diving, routes and experience

Nitrox included in the partner package; separate fuel and park charges need checking.

Check the itinerary attached to your departure. Malé–Malé routes avoid the domestic-flight logistics of many southern trips. Currents can change the site order and wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.

Get the minimum logged dives, certification, required equipment and no-fly interval in writing from the operator. A statement that a boat welcomes beginners does not mean every route or dive is suitable for them.

Indicative central-atolls Best of Maldives circuit for Adora. Check the itinerary attached to your particular departure.

Text itinerary: Malé / North Malé → South Malé area → Vaavu / Alimatha → South Ari / Maamigili → Maaya Thila / North Ari → Malé / North Malé. The order is illustrative, not a confirmed departure programme. Confirm the boarding point, direction and daily stops with the operator.

The lines connect reference areas; they are not safe sailing tracks. The captain selects channels and sites according to conditions. No wildlife encounter or individual stop is guaranteed.

Dive sites and geographic precision
  • Maaya Thila / North Ari: Maaya Thila reef reference in North Ari. Whether it is included depends on the chosen departure.
  • Vaavu / Alimatha: Alimatha island reference for the surrounding night-diving area; not an exact dive-entry position.

Adora itinerary map

Compare Central Atolls and Deep South route examples. Select one or both layers; your actual Adora departure determines the route and joining airports.

Lines show indicative connections between regions, not navigation tracks. Arrows show the example direction; departures can run in reverse, and stops vary with weather, currents and the chosen cruise.

Routes at a glance

  • Central Atolls: Malé / North Malé → South Malé area → Vaavu / Alimatha → South Ari / Maamigili → Maaya Thila / North Ari → Malé / North Malé. Indicative regional connections from the route described on this page. Confirm the actual departure, direction and stops; this is not a navigation track.
  • Deep South: Huvadhu / Kooddoo → Fuvahmulah → Addu / Gan, or the reverse.. A southern one-way example, separate from Malé. Arrange flights around the actual embarkation and disembarkation airports.

Confirm ports, transfers and any domestic flights before booking.

Adora: detailed booking FAQ

Does Adora have a real single cabin?

Yes. The middle-deck Superior Room has a double bed and is listed for one guest.

Do all Adora cabins have ocean views?

No. The four Ocean View cabins are upstairs; the six Standard rooms are below. Confirm the exact room.

Can two friends avoid sharing a double bed?

There are twin Standards and double-plus-single layouts. Request separate beds explicitly.

Is the old 2013 build date confirmed?

The current partner record says 2014. Dimensions also differ between operator and partner, as explained in the vessel profile.

Where does the diving take place?

From a separate dhoni. The operator lists standard 12 L tanks and larger 15 L cylinders for rental.

What does Best of Maldives include?

The operator describes seven nights through North/South Malé, Vaavu and Ari, with approximately 17–18 dives. Conditions can change the programme.

Is the Wi-Fi suitable for working?

The operator advertises internet, but coverage and speed at sea vary. Avoid planning essential calls around it.

What should I confirm before flying?

Ask for the boarding meeting point, transfers and final dive time. A southern itinerary may require different flights from a Malé round trip.
