Phinisi Waecicu ship review

The Phinisi Waecicu is a traditional Indonesian sailing boat offering adventure cruises in Indonesia. Built in 2012 and renovated in 2020, the 36-meter cruise ship offers a luxurious private retreat to the world-famous Komodo National Park. This sailing boat built with local teakwood and ironwood proposes a unique itinerary to help you discover the best spot on Komodo Island with your friends or your family.

 

The cabins

The Phinisi Waecicu cruise ship offers an intimate experience since the boat only accommodates up to 6 guests. Indeed, this cruise is ideal for families or a group of friends as it features a single spacious cabin. In the cabin, you will find 6 single bunks, plenty of storage space, and an air conditioner. The cabin appears to feature several windows, letting the light in. Moreover, the Waecicu displays one bathroom, shared between the guests.

Cruise ship features

On the Phinisi Waecicu, you will find both outdoor and indoor areas to enjoy your time onboard. First, you will find a sundeck on the upper deck, with plenty of space to lounge and admire the view of Komodo National Park. Next, on the main deck, the guests can enjoy a comfortable covered lounge area, which doubles into an outdoor dining room. Indeed, freshly cooked meals are served there daily. Moreover, you will find an indoor air-conditioned salon where with a bar and audio & video entertainment.

Phinisi Waecicu itineraries & activities

Departing from Labuan Bajo in Indonesia, the Phinisi Waecicu proposes 3 days/2 nights private charter itineraries. The Phinisi Waecicu’s itinerary focuses on the Komodo National Park, a famous world wonder. On board this cruise, you will have the opportunity to visit some amazing places such as Rinca, Padar, some of the rare pink beaches, and more.

The activities will consist of a mix of water and land excursions. Indeed, you will find kayaks and snorkeling gear on board. Snorkeling in Komodo National Park is the opportunity to explore the world-renowned marine environment of Indonesia, full of colors and diversity. Plus, the Waecicu will get you to shore for cultural discoveries and hiking tours.
